Specifications of Etihad Airways Pet Policy

While traveling on Etihad Airways, you can add your pet to your upcoming flight up to seven days before departure. You can bring your pet on an Etihad flight in the cabin or as cargo. 

• ➡️ You must book your pet on Etihad at least seven days before departure.
• ➡️ Etihad will require pet documents, and you must email them at least 72 hours before departure. 
• ➡️ While you travel to Abu Dhabi, you must apply for your pet’s release permit and complete a UAE health certificate. 
• ➡️ However, you can also book a seat for your pet in Business class.
• ➡️ The service dog must be harnessed and appropriately leashed throughout the travel.
• ➡️ You cannot travel with your pets in business class. 
• ➡️ You must submit the required documents and vaccination certificates to show at the airport.
• ➡️ The pets should not block the aisle area or any other section.
• ➡️ You must ensure the pet meets its hygiene and cleanliness requirements during the flight and does not affect other passengers.

Allowance for Pets in the Flight

• ➡️ Etihad Airways allows you to bring your pets on all flights, including economy and business class.  
• ➡️ Pets must sit under your seat while traveling in economy class.
• ➡️ Your pets must be at least 16 weeks old and weigh less than 8 kg.
