How is the Copa Air Pet Policy Useful?

You can bring your pets on your flight to explore different destinations together. Under the Copa Air pet policy, you can bring pets of the allowed size and weight. You must inform the airline in advance as the booking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Copa Air books your pet seat while you book by calling the helpline number. 

Guidelines on Copa Air Pet Policy 

• Under the Copa Air pet policy, you should inform us at least 48 hours before departure.
• If traveling with pets, you should reach the airport one hour before check-in.
• The service dog must be harnessed and appropriately leashed throughout the travel.
• You cannot travel with your pets in business class. 
• You must submit the required documents and vaccination certificates to show at the airport.
• The pets should not block the aisle area or any other section.
• You must ensure the pet meets its hygiene and cleanliness requirements during the flight and does not affect other passengers.
• Meanwhile, you can carry your pets on Copa Airlines from Monday to Sunday on all routes except Armenia. 
• You can take your pet in the cabin or as cargo on Copa Air. 

Pets in the Cabin on Copa Air 

Depending on factors, you can bring your pet to the cabin while traveling on Copa Airlines for a fee. However, Copa Air allows you to carry one additional personal item and the pet carrier as carry-on baggage. 

• The pet must be 16 weeks old. 
• Copa Air will only allow three pets in the main cabin of the flight, per the policy. 
• You can bring only one pet.
• If an unaccompanied minor travels, Copa will not allow them to bring the pet.
• Pets cannot travel on connecting flights.
• You can carry small dogs and cats on Copa Airlines. 

Copa Airlines Pet Carrier Size 

• Pets must be small enough to fit comfortably inside the carrier.
• At Copa Airlines, you can bring your pet to the soft-sided kennel. The kennel must be padded, water-repellant material, and have nylon mesh ventilation on three or all sides. 
• The weight of pets and carriers must be up to 10 kg.
• The maximum size of the kennel must not exceed 11*18*11 inches.

• Select add carry-on pets from the exceptional service section.
• Ensure all the regulations are followed before continuing the process.
• Now, choose the flight for which you want to add your pet.
• After that, pay for the pet and confirm your seat.
